With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe we are looking for an Operations Co-ordinator to join our Dedicated Fleet Buisness Unit.

This is a key appointment, and the incoming individual must be able to demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail and be the right fit in terms of chemistry, character and outlook.

GBA Logistics Dedicated Fleet provides both highly trained drivers and a reliable modern fleet of trucks to pull either our or our customers' trailers.

We operate to the highest standards of safety and compliance. All of our drivers are thoroughly vetted and undergo significant training which is tailored to each individual customer's requirements.

Working within our Operations Team your responsibilities will include:

Daily Vehicle Asset Monitoring, ensuring vehicle VOR tracking is maintained. Raising defects to the appropriate staff member where required and making sure VOR vehicles are not used.
Ensuring vehicles for inspection/service/MOT are not utilised, raising to the Transport Planner where required.
Daily communication and monitoring of drivers regarding route completion. Ensuring the completion is being carried out in a timely manner.
Making sure all drivers have confirmed their route for the next day, ensuring effective confirmation on all job details where required.
Providing effective communication to Operations Managers/Transport Planners regarding any delays/issues/problems that could affect the route planning for the next day.
Checking on brief/debrief that drivers have the correct lone worker device and all cards required (CPC/Drivers License/Tacho)
