Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm

£45,000 DOE

About the role:


As a Production Engineer, the primary function is to support and facilitate the introduction of new products from concept through to Manufacturing and Assembly.

There will also be a requirement to investigate, streamline & identify enhancements on existingprocesses on established products, to optimise efficiencies.


Duties of a Production Engineer:


  • Identify & integrate requirements within Manufacturing and Assembly when introducing new products.
  • Introduce processes that optimise the efficient and effective introduction of new products into Manufacturing and Assembly.
  • Working closely with Manufacturing and assembly teams to identify process enhancements thus promoting continuous improvement throughout.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise with Manufacturing and assembly.
  • Liaise closely with quality team to maintain quality standards and requirements are met.

Key requirements of a Production Engineer:

  • A good understanding of Engineering Drawings & Modelling methods
  • Good knowledge of Manufacturing & Assembly methods, tools & techniques
  • Experience of using CAD (Solidworks)
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience in managing NPI into assembly processes
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel)
