Sales Account Manager

£40-60k + OTE £20-35k in Year 1 (uncapped)


The Role:


This is a unique opportunity to join a business who are truly passionate about preventing poverty and supporting the most vulnerable people in the UK.

You will be working closely with a range of public sector organisations to providevarious digital, social policy tools and consultancy services, in turn helping to identify and support UK families in need of financial support.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

Selling subscriptions to several digital solutions, social policy insights and consultancy services:

-
Targetting public sector clients, including local authorities, central government and housing associations etc

Developing new business opportunities (70%) and renewing an existing book of business (30%)


The incoming Sales Account Manager will be responsible for self-generating a new business pipeline, running client meetings and product demonstrations (both virtually and in-person) and closing deals.

You will assist the internal Client Services team withonboarding and take sole ownership of future renewals and the growth of your existing accounts.


A key aspect of this position is to develop long-term, strategic relationships with senior decision makers within the public sector.

It will be best suited to an engaging, humble, and naturally inquisitive salesperson who is confident running face-to-facemeetings with prospects.

Established over 10 years ago, our client has since developed and enhanced their industry-recognised financial budgeting tools, which are now available to access on the website.

Their digital products are aimed at increasingthe effectiveness of the UK welfare system, to support those on low incomes and provide crucial data and insight to policy makers.


Requirements:

For this Sales Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience within a consultative/challenger sales environment (eg. BI/data, tech, services etc)
  • Experience selling to public sector organisations eg. Local Councils, Public Housing etc.
  • Confident in running product demos/facetoface prospect meetings with senior decision makers
