Description

Position: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Location:
Bishop's Stortford

Salary Scale:
£75-£100 per day

Contract Type:
Full-time

Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a specific student with unique learning requirements.
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans tailored to the student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to effectively support the student.
Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student to enhance their wellbeing and engagement.
Monitor and track the student's progress, offering feedback to the teacher and parents as necessary.
Work alongside other professionals to ensure a holistic support system for the student.

Qualifications and Skills of a Learning Support Assistant:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
Initiative and a willingness to collaborate effectively with the teaching team.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
