Position Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Officer Coordinator to join the team based at the Edrington UK office in West George Street, Glasgow on a fixed term basis for 6 months.

This position acts as the first point of contact for visitors to the Edrington UK either in person through reception or over the telephone.

The role holder will be an Edrington ambassador by delivering an exceptional reception service to all visitors, guests and colleagues arriving and departing the office.

Job Description

The key areas of responsibilities will be:

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors and guests, ensuring they are signed in and aware of security/health and safety regulations and the host is aware of their arrival.
  • Answer calls that are directed to Reception and ensure any enquiries are promptly dealt with or passed on to the correct person in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Provide all necessary assistance to people leaving the office including booking taxis', advising on transport links, offering directions.
  • Manage internal and external meeting room requests along with ordering any catering provisions that are required. Ensuring that catering is laid out on time for meetings and cleared away when finished.
  • Proactively manage the quality of the working environment to ensure high standards maintained.
  • Coordinate and track deliveries and couriers using an online system to arrange deliveries and pick ups.
  • Event support for large office events, liaising with ground floor reception, organising entry passes and supporting host to ensure event is appropriate managed and is covered out of hours to ensure guests have all left and event space is cleared.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have front of house/reception experience in a customer focussed environment.

You will have a track record of providing exceptional customer service whilst managing a variety of different tasks and maintaining a flexible approach.
