My client is a leading tier one main building contractor that is very well established in the marketplace. Due to an increase in contracts in Manchester they currently a Design Managers to join their team. They deliver large scale design and Build projects.
As a business they are delivering a good variety of projects within residential, commercial and leisure sectors. In particularly they have a lot of commercial and student accommodation schemes across the Manchester area.
The schemes are between £30millionto £50million, my client has advised will place each Design Manager on projects best suited to skillset so didn't want to be project specific.
They have an excellent pipeline of works all Manchester.The Design Manager they are looking will have proven experience preconstruction processes of projects. The successful Design Manager will have experience working for main building contractors in delivering design and build projects.
The Design Manager willeither be experienced level or looking to take the next step from design Co-ordinator in to Design Manager.
You will be attending internal and external meetings taking accurate minutes as necessary, ensuring distribution to relevant parties, reviewing design drawings in accordance with building regulations.
