This role requires effective management and operational delivery of the full range of FM services including the development of efficient and effective systems, policies and procedures.


This role requires the ability to adapt and innovate so that services can continuously improve, and experience in managing change.


This is an exciting time to join the Estates and Facilities team as we prepare for the operational stage for our new (£140m) 'state of the art' mental health facilities due to open in mid 2023.

The role also offers the opportunity to be involved in the Trust service transformation across our inpatient and community services.


This role requires effective management of facilities services, and in partnership with the Deputy Director of Capital, Estates and Facilities to provide strong and effective leadership to the operational delivery across all Soft FM Services (Catering, Portering, Cleaning, Transport, Waste, Linen, Postal Services and Residential Accommodation).


This role requires the ability to adapt and innovate so that services can continuously improve, experience in managing change, engaging staff and building a supportive high performance culture.

In partnership with the Deputy Director of Capital Estates and Facilities Management, provide strong and effective leadership to the operational delivery across FM Services (Catering, Portering, Housekeeping, Transport, Waste, Residential Accommodation.


As part of the Management teamwork with other members of the clinical directorates to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services to clinical areas and patients.

To lead the directorate operational service plan, including service improvement and redesign approached from a commercial perspective.

To support the Deputy Director of Capital Estates and Facilities in their role.
