SEND Teacher

Immediate Start - End of Academic Year

KS3/KS4

Wigan

Rate of pay is dependent on experience


Milk Education are working with one of their partnership schools in the Wigan Area to recruit for an outstanding teacher, ideally with experience working within SEND.

The successful teacher will be expected to teach KS3 and KS4 cross curricular.

This special educational needs school (PRU) offers a curriculum to students with SEMH. The successful KS3/KS4 Teacher must be able to develop positive relationships with students who have varied and complex needs. The successful Teacher will support studentsto gain qualifications and potentially reintegrate them back into mainstream education.


This is a full time role working Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm which will commence as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The successful KS3/KS4 Teacher will have

  • Qualified Teacher Status in the U.K
  • Experience working within SEND
  • Experience of SEMH
  • Good classroom management skills
  • A calm, patient and resilient nature
