Part Time Variable Hours BA Acting Tutor

Hours:
part-time variable


Hourly rate:
£24.51 (unqualified) or £25.61 (qualified) inclusive of holiday pay.

Plus, membership of Teachers' Pension Scheme
- the base hourly rate is £15.81 (unqualified) / £16.52 (qualified) per hour, plus payment for holiday and preparation and marking time, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £24.51 (unqualified) / £25.61 (qualified) per hour.


About the role
The role includes teaching on the BA Acting for Stage and Screen degree course. This includes Fundamental Acting Technique for stage and camera.

The course includes projects such as improvisation for camera based on the practice of Mike Leigh, a location shoot of a period drama in collaboration with Screen Yorkshire and our own Film Production Degree, Graduating Student Professional Showreel projects, student applied dissertation modules and potentially a radio drama module.


About the Person
We are seeking someone experienced in teaching acting. A professionally trained actor with experience teaching at Higher Education Level would be desirable.
