Description
Be responsible for maintaining an accurate record of the patients medical history. Be responsible for operating all procedures associated with medical records summarising, including all incoming correspondence. Ensure appropriate information is entered to support achievement of QOF targets and maximise practice income. Work flexibly with regard to sickness and holiday absence cover.

Support other staff members during the induction process.

Inform the Operations Manager should it become known that current methods of data entry may negatively impact upon, or pose a risk to patient safety or practice income.

Take responsibility for own time keeping, sickness and other absences in accordance with Practice policies.

Comply with all practice policies, particularly:

  • Patient confidentiality Information Governance Health & Safety Undertake any duties pertaining to the grade as requested by Management.
