This Associate-Director/Director job represents a great career opportunity with IQVIA's PCS team.

Our diverse team of PCS experts works together to develop, deploy, and validate patient-centric studies (through qualitative research and mixed methods surveys) and to capture the patient disease and treatment experience using preference research and Health Economics and Outcomes Research methods.

Moreover, our PCS scientists analyze and interpret patient-relevant outcomes and translate the information to advance the initiatives of life science companies and improve the quality of care for patients.

Home-based or office-based role, with occasional travel to IQVIA and/or client offices within the EMEA region.


Role & Responsibilities


You will join a thriving PCS business with existing client accounts with scope for expansion, and the support of a broad array of IQVIA colleagues with connections to introduce PCS to new clients.

You will have sell and deliver responsibility for preference research, but you will also help build and support the growth of our business for preference and HEOR/RW studies.

An ability to successfully partner with other PCS business leaders to convert pipeline opportunities, lead complex projects, coach and professionally develop team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the PCS function will be also expected.


Key responsibilities are:


  • Develop and deliver insightful, valueadded strategies that address complex client issues in the PCS field
  • Contribute to sales efforts, specifically responding to proposals, to win preference studies work
  • Oversee PCS delivery teams who are executing consulting projects in the Health Preference space
  • Provide direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams
  • Lead PCS solution building and thought leadership initiatives in preference research
  • Identify opportunities for expansion of PCS consulting service offerings
  • Support the development of the PCS team and global community within IQVIA

About You
-
Strong experience of preference research projects generating robust data suitable for payers, regulatory bodies or publication (mandatory)

  • 810 years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare consulting within a Professional Services business with evidence of career progression
  • A track record of serving in sell and deliver roles, fostering client relationships, leadership, and people development
  • Ability to engage clients and direct project teams on patientcentered research and the associated methods, in a meaningful manner with depth of content knowledge
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, external conference presentations, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
  • An entrepreneurial nature and interest in developing new client offerings and solutions and in building the capability to deliver the same
  • Experience in the design and analysis of discretechoice experiment (DCE) surveys and/or other statedpreference methods such as Best Worst Scaling, and threshold technique.
  • Experience in developing experimental designs

In addition to the skills and experience above the Associate Director/Director should have:

  • PhD degree in a relevant discipline e.g., biological sciences, public health, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, health economics or equivalent experience preferred
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
