Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Wallsend.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and ageappropriate lessons for EYFS students.
Assisting with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources.
Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's development and wellbeing.
Supporting children with their daily routines, such as toileting, dressing and feeding, where necessary.
Providing onetoone or small group support to children who require additional assistance with their learning.
Recording and monitoring children's progress and achievements, and contributing to the assessment and reporting process.
Building strong relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues, and communicating effectively with them.
Attending relevant training and professional development sessions to improve your knowledge and skills.
Undertaking other duties as required by the school.

The requirements for this role are:

GCSE English & Maths
Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Experience working with children
Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
Possess strong organizational, communication and problemsolving skills
Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
