This is a rare opportunity to join our electronics manufacturing team at Windsor. NOTE Windsor continues to be a friendly and professional place of work. Job Description / Person Specification

Reporting to:
Through Hole Supervisor


Renumeration:
circa £19.2K per annum

Normal Working hours: 37hrs / week

Mon - Thu 07: half hour lunch)

Fri - 07:45-12:45 (no lunch)

  • Holiday 5 weeks + bank holidays + long service extra days
  • Pension Scheme Auto Enrollment (5%+3% contributions)
  • Parking Free parking on site

Job Role:


Reporting to the Through Hole Supervisor you will be part of a team of technicians & solderers who will be responsible for all aspects of conventional Through Hole soldering and assembly.

On occasion you will be required to support other activities within production including inspection.


Responsibilities:


  • Hand soldering
  • Kit preparation
  • Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality and productivity
  • Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Basic computer skills (using our QL system to barcode work from the department)
