Fintelligent is looking for a dedicated Collections Advisor to join our client's top finance organisation, currently flourishing in Manchester.

This full-time collections role offers a basic salary of up to £26K DOE and is an excellent opportunity to joina company with a fantastic employee benefits package, performance-based bonus opportunities, and genuine career progression.


As an attentive Collections Advisor, you will recover customer arrears via telephone, written communications, and any other digital methods introduced into the department/function.

You will also set appropriate and sustainable repayment arrangements. Pleasenote that this position offers hybrid working with three days in the office and two at home per work.

If you were already in this Collections Advisor role, here are some areas in which you would have been working this week:

  • Showing empathy and care for vulnerable customers
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure the customer receives the correct outcomes to collections issues raised
  • Adhering to the rules and guidelines set by the company and its regulators
  • General administration duties
  • Adhering to KPIs set by the business


To succeed in this collections job, you must have a minimum of 1 year of collections experience, ideally within a regulated environment.

You must also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to empathise with people. In addition, you shouldhave a GCSE level in Maths and English. Honesty, integrity and a can-do attitude are also essential.

You will receive a basic salary of £23,000-£26,000 DOE for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
