Camper Van Converter

Barry - South Wales

We are a rapidly growing start-up business specializing in converting commercial vans into comfortable and functional living spaces.

Our passion for camper van conversions has fuelled our growth, and we are now looking for a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Camper Van Converter.

Responsibilities:

• Convert commercial vans into comfortable and functional living spaces, including installing pop tops
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that the designs are implemented accurately
• Utilize CNC machines to fabricate components for camper van conversions
• Install windows, roof vents, and any other necessary features
• Install electrical and plumbing systems as required
• Ensure proper insulation and soundproofing is installed
• Build and install furniture and storage solutions as required
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Complete all work to a high standard and within set timeframes

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a traderelated industry
• Proficient in carpentry, with experience in working with wood and other materials
• Experience in CNC machining is an added advantage
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Good communication skills
