Description
The Shrubbery School is the oldest co-educational independent primary school in Sutton Coldfield.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and dedicated school caretaker.

The core hours of this role are 10am - 2pm Mon - Friday although there is some flexibility in how this role can be accommodated.


The purpose of this role includes:

  • acting as a site key-holder
- general maintenance and repairs
- tending to the school grounds
- maintaining health and safety and security across the school
- setting up the school for events


Due to the nature of this role there is also an expectation that the caretaker will be available to support extra-curricular activities such as parents evening, summer fair etc.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide satisfactory references.


Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
