Your new role, what's involved?

  • Managing our regional and UKwide WSP Awards programme, including communications planning and events management.
  • Delivering our annual 'Safety standdown', working in collaboration with our Safety, Health and Wellbeing team.
  • Working closely with our Inclusion & Diversity team and Employee Resource Groups to help bring our peoples' stories to life.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to produce content that celebrates and showcases the great work of WSP and our people.

YOUR TEAM

  • You'll be joining a supportive, fun and collaborative team, within a business that truly values the importance of effective communication.
  • You'll be working within the Internal Communications team, part of the wider Marketing and Communications function, in delivering WSP's strategic goals. You'll report to the Head of Internal Communications and will work across the wider team and WSP business.
  • You'll be comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with top organisational skills, an excellent communicator and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • You'll always be on the lookout to bring fresh ideas to the table in pursuit of raising the quality of our comms. If you've got lots of energy and are passionate about the value internal communications brings to an organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working in an in-house internal communications team
  • event management experience is an advantage.
  • Uptodate knowledge of internal communication tools and strategies.
  • Confidence and ability to build good relationships with different stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of working across a broad range of communication channels.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in working in fastpaced environments with the ability to work under pressure when required.
