Description
Our client is looking for a PR manager on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).

The PR Manager plays a crucial role in creating and communicating the brand's story to the public through the media.

This position is accountable for developing external communicationstrategies, generating positive media coverage for the brand, and promoting its products and services to different audiences.

The role also manages reactive media queries and provides support to the business with issue and reputation management.


Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000

Contract : 9 Month FTC

City of London


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop effective PR plans and campaigns for the brand and its products and services across consumer, corporate, and trade audiences
  • Produce compelling written content for media, including press releases, media statements, and opeds
  • Manage reactive media queries and foster relationships with key media personnel
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide monthly reports on individual campaign performance
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to amplify campaigns through social media, SEO, and content
  • Devise PR plans to raise the profile of senior leaders within the business
  • Continuously integrate earnt media content with related channels, such as social media and SEO
  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies

Skills Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with substantial work experience in PR or communications
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing media campaigns and managing significant communication/PR plans
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging and compelling content, including press releases and opeds
  • Capability to distill complex information into PR that will gain media coverage and build brand awareness and reputation
  • Proven experience in managing issues and crisis communications for an organisation
  • Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Uptodate knowledge of current affairs and identifying potential areas of opportunity and reputational risk to the business

Desirable:


  • Background in financial services or healthrelated industries
  • Experience in managing relationships with PR agencies
  • Understanding of social media platforms and creating content for different audiences
