Moorhouse Nursing Home is a beautiful country house in the heart of Hindhead, Surrey and provides nursing, dementia, and residential care for up to 36 elderly men and women.

Our home is focussed on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents, and their families, feel supported and respected.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to really get to know our residents and provide them with a variety of stimulating activities that not only promote physical but also mental and social wellbeing.

You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Coordinator.


You will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining a 'Calendar of Events' that includes group and onetoone activities and entertainment
• Organising outings and inhouse seasonal events
• Ensuring adequate supplies are purchased for the events whilst still working within the set budget
• Liaising with the Home Manager in respect to the residents' individual abilities on a regular basis

Experience is not essential as we will support you with all the training and support, you'll need to do the job but what is important is that you are caring enthusiastic and have energy to share.
