Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Account Assistant for our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Various tasks within General Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Purchase Ledger
  • Reconciliation of the PDQ receipts
  • Cash count and reconciliation
  • Processing credit cards expenses
  • Processing Employee Expenses
  • Managing the VAT return preparation
  • Processing adhoc invoices
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial monthly reporting
  • Fixed asset management
  • Hotel and car booking

Education, skills, and experience:


  • At least 1 year of experience in Finance department.
  • AAT Level 3 completed.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good Excel skills.


Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, with optional hybrid working (2 days remote per week) after completion of the probationary period.


In return our client offers a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, as well as free on-site parking and study support.
