Introduction:

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work onsite most of the time. You may be able to work from home occasionally.

My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who provide critical services and through life support to large military clients.

They are looking for a Principal Welding Engineer to develop and maintain the welding engineering capabilities and ensure quality welding is taking place across the site.

Key responsibilities:

Work with a weld quality management system
Ensure high quality welding is maintained across the site
Complete audits against ISO 3834
Author engineering reports for welding techniques

Skills & experience:

Engineering background
Experience as a welding engineer
Able to demonstrate welding processes and techniques
IWE/EWE diploma or CIWE status
