Do you want to work directly with SEND?


DegreeSix are a SEND specialist agency that are working with a SEND school in Oakham that are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join them ASAP.

In these positions you will be required to work with children that have statements of SEMH and behaviour difficulties. The working day will require you to work either 1:1 or in small groups throughout the day. You will be supporting the pupils with their curriculum work and their day to day activities.


The children in this school have a variety of special needs but these positions are to work directly with Emotional Behaviour and ADHD for pupils in Key stage 1 to 4.

The school starts at 8.30am and finishes at around 4.30pm Monday to Friday on a long-term/permanent basis.


What you will need to be successful.

  • DBS (online) or be willing to obtain one
  • 2 check able references
  • Complete the compliance procedure
  • Previous experience in a similar setting

Salary:
Up to £23,000
