• To Operate the Lock between Ipswich Marina and River Orwell
• Allow safe passage of water craft in / out of the Wet Dock
• Follow Safe Systems of Work and collaborate with other team members

• Good communication skills with members of public
• Good, Clear speech required over VHF radio
• Ability to give clear positive instruction

No previous experience needed

Training in the use of VHF radio will be given, alongwith training on the use of the lock gate panel

Salary:
£12.00-£18.00 per hour
