Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a HCA, your duties could include:

Taking and recording observations
Small wound management
Daily patient care and mobilisation
Direct patient supervision
Working with patient care plans
Making beds and helping other healthcare staff where needed
Sterilising equipment, restocking consulting rooms, trolleys, and stations
Carrying out health checks, taking blood samples and processing lab samples

Essential Criteria

You will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting providing patient care
You will need to pass an enhanced background check
You will need to pass a Medacs Healthcare interview
You will be required to provide evidence of immunisation history
You will need to provide references from a clinical setting covering the last 3 years
