Custom Solar have a number of high-profile clients including the Association of British Ports.

Custom Solar secured a framework partnership with ABP, the UK's leading port operator, with a unique network of 21 ports across England, Scotland and Wales.

Their ports include Immingham and Hull, where Custom Solar recently installed the UK's largest rooftop project, a 6.5MWp solar system across the main terminals buildings with works including major HV upgrade works.


Job Overview

Main Duties
Efficient clerical and administrative support as required including but not limited to:

  • Keep the team project tracker up-to-date daily to enable regular reporting
  • Contacting Business Development Managers, Design Engineers and Project Managers to ensure they are aware as deadlines approach
  • Any other requirements of the Design Manager
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong team player orientation cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • Engaging communicator demonstrating influencing skills and an ability to adapt approaches to differing audiences.
  • Well organised, with the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage competing demands. Strong multitasking capability, project and deadline oriented.
  • Maintains effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks or pressure remains calm and in control of themselves.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts
  • Desire to grasp the role and improve organisation and processes
  • Ability to adapt to changing ways of working
