More Recruitment are looking for graduate/junior CNC Operators to join a major national manufacturer producing facade systems, insulation products, and fire protection equipment.

This is an entry-level role, we are looking for juniors of engineering background and eager to learn graduates.

The company is a major national manufacturer specialised in CNC Machining:
Cutting, Shaping, Drilling, Bevelling, and Routing. The complex training provided and progression opportunities will help you boost your career within the industry.


Successful CNC Operators will receive contract on temporary to permanent basis; the temporary contract will transform into permanent contract after 12 weeks (depending on performance).

There are day shifts available from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm. Depending on work load, there may be overtime available starting at 6:00am or 7:00am.


Main duties include but not limited to:

  • Operate CNC machines
  • Operate and make necessary adjustments to machines in line with customer specifications
  • Ensure quality of products are inline with drawings
  • Ensure allocated operation times are achieved inline with KPI's
  • Run various systems working to tight tolerances
  • Work with Quality Control on inspections using verniers and micrometers
  • Work with production/design for machining capability
  • Comply and adhere to Company Health and Safety standards

Skills required:


  • Previous experience of working within an engineering/ manufacturing environment is not essential, but would be beneficial
  • Precision/mechanical engineering background
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances
  • Eagerness to learn
