More Recruitment are looking for graduate/junior CNC Operators to join a major national manufacturer producing facade systems, insulation products, and fire protection equipment.

This is an entry-level role, we are looking for juniors of engineering background and eager to learn graduates.

The company is a major national manufacturer specialised in CNC Machining:
Cutting, Shaping, Drilling, Bevelling, and Routing. The complex training provided and progression opportunities will help you boost your career within the industry.

Successful CNC Operators will receive contract on temporary to permanent basis; the temporary contract will transform into permanent contract after 12 weeks (depending on performance).

There are day shifts available from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm. Depending on work load, there may be overtime available starting at 6:00am or 7:00am.

Main duties include but not limited to:

Operate CNC machines
Operate and make necessary adjustments to machines in line with customer specifications
Ensure quality of products are inline with drawings
Ensure allocated operation times are achieved inline with KPI's
Run various systems working to tight tolerances
Work with Quality Control on inspections using verniers and micrometers
Work with production/design for machining capability
Comply and adhere to Company Health and Safety standards

Skills required:

Previous experience of working within an engineering/ manufacturing environment is not essential, but would be beneficial
Precision/mechanical engineering background
Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances
Eagerness to learn
