Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic member to join our café team based in Torbay hospital.

Appropriate training will be given to work in this environment.

Job Summary

Assistants are required to be flexible according to business requirements.

The focus of each job may vary however, it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services
Take payment and keep financial records as required
Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
Clean back of house areas,
Clean and tidy counter, preparation areas and public areas
Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
Keeps diligent records as required
Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
Undertake relevant training as required
