Do you have a proven track record of success in the FMCG Food Industry? We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Supervisor to run our afternoon shift.

This position will be based at our Grimsby factory, the hours will be 6am - 6pm on a 4 on 4 off rota basis.


Role profile:

  • Ensure GMP's are followed at all times
  • Configuring load plans
  • Performing all delivery note checkbacks with Planners
  • Ensure all drivers are provided with correct paperwork
  • Managing dispatch of all finished products
  • Ensure that all paper work is completed and returned to the relevant areas
  • Liaising with Planners as to vehicle timings
  • Liaising with Shift Supervisors with regards to product run times
  • Complete carryforward checks after each Order Pick
  • Completion of Shortage Sheets
  • Responsible and controlled splitting of breaks
  • Control the housekeeping element of your shift
  • Ensuring that all products are date rotated
  • Take responsibility for getting all short dated stock in to the quarantine isle in order for decanting
  • Updating SAGE with goods in/out information
  • People management conducting probation reviews, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals
  • Manpower planning approving holidays, planning cover for absence/holidays/training
  • Ensuring the team are adhering to H&S legislation, working in a safe manner in accordance to the company safe systems of work
