We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our marketing and communications team.
The role will sit in our digital marketing team but will also work with the PR and Communications team, the design team, and our events team.
Someone with the drive to develop their marketing skills for a career in marketing would suit this role.
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of various marketing activities and initiatives to promote Browne Jacobson's services and enhance its brand reputation across all marketing channels.
What does the role actually involve?
Social media
- Support the creation and posting of social media posts across all our social media channels. This will include drafting and proofreading posts, creating content and media, and ensuring posts are scheduled for maximum impact.
- Preparing reports on the success of our social media activities across all platforms and sharing those with key stakeholders as appropriate.
- Supporting with the planning and delivery of social media training and best practice across the firm.
- Monitoring key topics on social media using a media monitoring tool and reporting back as appropriate.
Digital
- Contribute to the development of engaging digital content (blog posts, infographics, videos, etc.).
- Perform basic search engine optimisation (SEO) tasks, such as keyword research and onpage optimisation.
- Stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices sharing industry trends with the wider team.
- Support website content management, ensuring accurate and uptodate information
- Prepare reports on the performance of our website content and campaigns including high level recommendations.
General
- Working with and supporting the wider marketing and communications team as required.
- Coordinating and managing activities across the team.
- Escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders as required.
Person specification
What technical skills are required for someone to be successful and enjoy the role?
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization
- Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Good organisational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple activities
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
