Description

This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Manager with recent experience of data migration projects to join an exciting long-term project with a major UK provider.

You will be responsible for the full life cycle including defining and implementing the plans, ensuring adequate resource is assigned and effective change control is undertaken, whilst ensuring that there is stakeholder engagement throughout.


As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including business case, scope, governance, plan, risks/issues, and associated communications documents.
  • Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources, including where required, negotiation with other managers to source required resources.
  • Track progress against milestones and deliverables and report to the Head of Change & Improvement at identified events and times.
  • Manage risks, including the development of contingency plans and where appropriate, ensure appropriate and effective testing is performed.
  • Be responsible for change control and any required configuration management.

As a Project Manager, you will need the following skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in planning and successfully delivering complex, multi-component pension projects across people, process, and systems, preferably professionally qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience of producing documentation throughout the full life cycle.
  • Operational knowledge of the UK DB and DC legal, regulatory & taxation framework.
  • Experience of working with/alongside tests analysts.
  • Demonstrable experience of project status reporting to all levels, highlighting potential issues and slippage and explaining plans to mitigate these issues.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex issues / requirements clearly in all media to a variety of audiences and effective engagement of stakeholders of all levels.
  • Must be able to commute and work at the client site in Gatwick 2 days a week.
This is a full-time role where you will be working Monday-Friday.
