Description

Be a "Part of something" within a premium brand M-B Truck and Van are looking for a Parts Sales Advisor to work in our Mallusk dealership.


Shift pattern: 39 hours per week

Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 16:45 & Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (39 hours)


Saturday overtime working will be on a rotational basis; 08:30 - 12:30, when competent 08:30 - 17:00 on a rotational basis.


Job Background and Purpose:


  • To handle all customers/prospective customers in a prompt, helpful and efficient manner both on the telephone and in person
  • Sourcing Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle parts and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicating with customers, giving product advice along with promotions and offers
  • Upsell products and vehicle parts accessories
  • Assist with stock management and with general parts department duties
  • Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Aptitude, Values & Work Ethic:


  • Positivity with the desire to learn and develop within the dealership
  • A passion for vehicles

Essential:


  • Previous automotive experience, preferably within a similar role
  • IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and navigate parts catalogues
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • A good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Commitment to delivering customer excellence

Desirable:


  • Experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a dealer management system
