The role of Primary School Support Worker will involve working across each of the classes supporting pupils and teachers to access and deliver high quality education.


The main responsibilities of the post involve providing high quality support and learning experiences to learners with a range of needs within Methven.


This satisfying and fulfilling post involves 23 contracted hours of contact time with pupils Monday to Thursday during school term time.


An integral aspect of the role is working outdoors in the school playground throughout the school term, including break and lunch time supervision.

You will be hard working, well organised, flexible, nurturing and committed to improving the life of the school and the people who work in it.


You will work well as part of a team and also be able to take initiative and manage yourself, and your work, efficiently and effectively.

You will promote high expectation and build respectful relationships.

Previous experience of working with children in a school is essential.

You will be committed to continually enhancing knowledge and skills through working collegiately and through CPD.
