We are looking for a Technical Trainer to implement and deliver technical training programmes for a large UK based Fleet Management business.

This is an opportunity to bring your experience to the fold and be part of a brand-new L&D department, offeringideas and adding value where possible.

The client is one of the largest Commercial Vehicle Fleet Management companies in the UK, and counts the likes of the AA, Tesco & BT amongst their client base.

They're looking to develop talent at all stages of their career, from Apprenticeships to Senior Managementsin order to get ahead of current and future skills shortages.

In return, the Technical Trainer can expect a salary up to £39,000 plus company car, 25 days annual leave, attractive contributory pension scheme, access to online perks and benefits and a voluntary health and dental cash plan.


The Technical Trainer will:

  • Develop and Deliver Training Programmes from the Leeds Academy
  • Capability Assessments for new and experienced Technicians
  • Work with Garage Managers / Regional Managers across the business to identify skills shortages
  • Enforce Health and Safety at all times
  • Create a best practice mentality across the business

The Technical Trainer has:

  • Experience in a training environment
  • Working knowledge of Automotive Training Practices/Standards
  • Patience and able to adjust to different learning styles
  • Experience with EV/Hybrid Vehicles
Though not essential, any experience with Heavy Goods Vehicles or Refrigeration would be highly advantageous.
