Description

At insendi we provide a premium, pedagogically focused learning experience platform combined with online course development and delivery services to the world's leading business schools.

We are an EdTech Saas company with growing tech, services and sales teams and are recruiting a Learning Experience Designer as we expand our team.

We have large ambitions and a bold educational vision.

We currently have 25 clients, 25,000 learners and work with some of the most prestigious universities and business schools in the world.

Purpose of the post:

We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and support the delivery of our online programmes for our university partners around the globe.

This position would suit someone with knowledge of online learning theory and experience in learning design in higher education or business contexts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the design of online courses created for partners of insendi.
  • Working closely with senior academic colleagues within the partner institutions and championing insendi's learning design approach.
  • Supporting filming.
  • Building courses on the platform.
  • Leading the review of courses after they have been built.
  • Working with the programme team, faculty, and teaching staff to ensure courses are delivered consistently and impactfully.
  • Training and mentoring learning experience designers at partner universities.
  • Advising on the evaluation of courses through the use of learning analytics and qualitative feedback.
  • Contributing to discussions of new technologies and pedagogies.

Person specification:

  • An undergraduate degree, ideally in the field of education.
  • Prior experience designing online and blended courses.
  • A good understanding of online education: knowledge of fundamental learning theories and learning design models.
  • Strong writing skills in English: the ability to create vivid learning narratives through content; write effective copy, instructional, and narrative text; and edit audio/video scripts to improve learner engagement.
  • Creativity: the ability to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances the learner experience.
  • Organisation and time management: the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and use project management tools.
  • A team player: you will be part of a production team consisting of learning designers, media specialists, digital designers, and project managers.
  • Good problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrable interest and enthusiasm for the use of technology in education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Conscientious and responsible, with a resultsdriven approach.
  • This is not a managerial or consultancy position. At insendi, we are committed to the development of our staff, and there will be opportunities for progression, but for this post, we are looking for practitioners to help us build our programmes.

Work culture:

  • The successful applicant will be joining a closeknit team of learning designers, media producers, digital designers, and project managers. We champion collaborative working, peerreview, and continuous knowledgesharing.
  • We understand the appeal of flexible working. Our team is based across the UK with access to coworking spaces across London and the rest of the UK. We aim to meet up in London quarterly as a team, but there is flexibility around this for those unable to travel to London.
