The Skoll Centre at the University of Oxford is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as the Skoll Centre AfOx Coordinator.

As the AfOx Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and delivering the AfOx Leadership Programme, a prestigious initiative aimed at supporting African postgraduate Mastercard students in their leadership development journey.


The AfOx Leadership Programme is designed to empower African leaders who are passionate about tackling the most pressing challenges facing the African continent.

This two-year program focuses on cultivating collaborative leadership qualities and fostering interdisciplinary solutions to address complex social and environmental problems.

As the AfOx Coordinator, you will work closely with the Skoll Centre team to ensure the smooth implementation of the program, coordinating various activities, managing logistics, and facilitating effective communication with students and guest lecturers.


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Coordinate the implementation of the annual schedule and work plan for the AfOx Leadership Programme.
  • Manage the delivery of program activities, including masterclasses, storytelling cafés, and retreats.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participating students and guest lecturers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Design and circulate all programrelated materials, including schedules, retreat packages, and other necessary documents.
