Who are we?


We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we've ever delivered before.

We'll be embarking on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

What will you be doing as our new Master Data Specialist?


You will play a pivotal role within the ADMT, overseeing the collation, management, and delivery of master asset data for a portfolio of projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all new and updated asset data is accurately reflected in our business asset register and meets the quality standards expected.


Key Responsibilities:


Master Data Management:

Manage asset data for a portfolio of capital projects, ensuring accurate updating of the business asset register (SAP PM).

Provide regular progress reports on asset data management for all alliance schemes.

Review and interpret project deliverables to determine asset data requirements.

Collaborate with technical authors to incorporate asset data into the Digital Operating Manual.

Liaise with external suppliers and AWS supply chain to ensure correct data provision.

Drive improvements in asset data management, trialling and implementing new tools and processes.

Produce project asset tags & labels as applicable.


Data Standard Compliance:

Interface with Anglian Water Services (AWS) Asset Intelligence & Enterprise Data Teams to ensure compliance with data standards.

Initiate site data surveys as necessary in collaboration with AWS Asset Survey Team.

Ensure collated SAP PM data meets required quality standards and delivery milestones.

Work in line with POSMAINT and Asset Data capture requirements.


Change Control:

Manage change control processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Define and capture new technologies within SAP PM, identifying and addressing maintenance standards gaps.

Analyze opportunities for improving, automating, standardizing, and maintaining SAP data quality and delivery.

Introduce business intelligence to track projects and identify improvement requirements.

Utilize business intelligence to quantify and validate efficiencies and manage change control.

A little bit about your skills, experience, and behaviours.

To be successful in the role you'll ideally hold bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

You'll have proven experience in data management, preferably in asset-intensive industries and proficiency in SAP PM and familiarity with engineering drawings and schedules.

You have demonstrable project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with business intelligence tools is a plus.
