The business is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Trainee Contract Estimator to join our team at based in Rotherham.

This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team with a clear path to a career in Engineering.

Responsibilities

Working from customer drawings to produce detailed quotations.
Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings.
Create full routing information including labour and material costing.
Liaise with subcontract suppliers as required.
Input all information into the MRP estimation system in order to produce quotations.
Monitoring enquiries within the company and speaking directly with customers and Suppliers.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Preferrable for the applicant to have some experience working in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Strong attention to detail
An excellent level of IT ability including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload.
