An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Coach to join a growing retail advice team in this IFA either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
You will be joining a team looking to build an innovative and disruptive guidance and advice proposition aimed at improving financial wellbeing through the workplace.
You should be either an experienced financial coach or be working towards becoming a regulated financial adviser and looking for a role in which you can develop your client and presentation skills.
There is significant scope for personal growth and development in this small and collaborative team - a real opportunity to contribute and influence the future direction and growth of the business.
Role summary
Financial coaching is a low-cost way to have an accredited professional focus on individuals and their financial situation, helping them start or continue on their journey towards greater financial security.
You will be a strong communicator who is keen to develop presenting skills to large audiences and has a key focus on improving the financial wellbeing of individuals in a guidance arena.
You will either be an experienced financial coach or be working towards becoming a financial adviser who wants to develop their client skills in a coaching role.
Role responsibilities
- Being proactive with coaching clients, managing client relationships through meetings and highquality communications.
- Conducting high level assessments of clients' basic financial circumstances and current provisions.
- Operating within the 'guidance' space and adhering to strict advice boundaries.
- Upholding our values and culture of clientcentricity at all times.
- Developing and writing guidance collateral for use on client portal.
- Supporting distribution efforts including preparing for, delivering, and attending webinars and seminars for large employers.
- Meeting all compliance aspects of the role including requirements for disclosure and data privacy
- Adhering to all compliance processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the evolution and growth of our business and propositions through sharing views, knowledge and expertise with other team members.
- Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation and setting and completing training and competence requirements.
Research & technical duties
- Researching information from various sources, suitable for use in a guidance setting.
- Act as a source of knowledge and skill in the team.
