Administration Assistant

Salary:
£11.44 per hour


Hours: 15 per week
Week Saturday and Sunday

Week to 15.00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday


Location:
St Peters Care Home, Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3RJ


Purpose of the role


To provide reception duties within the home as directed by the Admin Manager and Home Manager, promoting the home and company to potential customers, appropriate authorities and colleagues in a pleasant, caring and professional manner.

You will ensure that the reception area creates a positive first-class impression, that it is tidy, welcoming and clean with up to date information available.

You will answer the telephone promptly and deal with enquiries in a helpful, courteous and welcoming manner, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding staff and residents and following all GDPR procedures.

Liaise and build relationships with relatives, residents, professional service providers and other visitors. You may also be required to conduct show rounds to prospective residents and families.


Key Responsibilities

Administration

  • To receive all residents/visitors to the home in a pleasant and efficient manner. Ensuring that all visitors sign in and out of the building using the digital reception Ipad.
  • To ensure that the reception area creates a positive firstclass impression, that it is tidy, welcoming and clean with up to date information available.
  • To answer the telephone promptly and deal with enquiries in a helpful, courteous and welcoming manner, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding staff and residents.
  • Liaise and build relationships with relatives, residents, professional service providers and other visitors.
  • To perform duties as required by the Admin Manager and Home Manager


To provide administrative and clerical support and other support as may be requested from time to time by the Admin Manager and Home Manager.
