Job summary
This post is based at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. The Paediatric Registrar is responsible for managing short stay patients on the Paediatric Short Stay Unit (PSSU), including A+E referrals and "hospital at home patients".The registrar also supervises STs and FY1 pre-assessment clinics,
and assists Great Western Ward SpR as required.
The role involves taking external referrals and liaising with other specialties across the WLCA site for advice re investigation and management of Paeds ID cases.
