Description
Independence With Care has 2 sites in North Walsham who support adults with learning disabilities.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a maintenance person to join our team.

This role will support our individuals to participate in the upkeep and maintenance of their homes, grounds and gardens.

You will be expected to deal with a range of projects including:

  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Maintaining Grounds and gardens
  • Seasonal preparations for example preparing for Winter, cold weather, Snow or in Summer responding to heatwaves, high temperatures.
  • Installation of domestic appliances and maintaining
  • Fitting shelves, handing pictures, painting and general DIY
  • Construction of flat pack office furniture
  • Undertaking minor repairs
  • Vehicle checks and cleaning
Previous practical experience preferred.

The role is 12 hours/week, with potential out of hours oncall for emergencies

Pay rate is £9.65 per hour.
