Ambition is delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy firm in Central London who are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their Accounts team.

The Firm
The firm is an independent accountancy practice with 12 partners and excels by providing a high
- quality service to each and all of their clients whilst priding themselves on their proactive and personal approach. The firm provides full-suite accountancyservices and has grown through its reputation. Offices are based in the West End which is accessible by public transport. Both working in office and at home is in effect.

The Role
As an Management Accountant you will be responsible for managing a portfolio and bookkeeping duties.

There are a wide variety of clients and the role will touch on all aspects of accounting, VAT and bookkeeping.

The role requires working closely with thePartners' of the firm as well as clients and provides a career progression.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Preparation of monthly quarterly management accounts for Partner/ Client review
Preparing VAT returns, accounting for monthly adjustments such as prepayments, accrued & deferred income
Dealing with client queries relating to bookkeeping and VAT
Maintaining all aspects of bookkeeping records and a firm grasp of double entry bookkeeping
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow to the firm
Working to meet deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities

Requirements include:

Able to work to client deadlines and maintaining a good rapport with said clients and internal staff
Proactive approach to work
Able to commute Central London
Able to demonstrate loyalty and stability throughout career
