Support Worker - Stanley, United Kingdom - Social Care Recuiting
Description
We're on the lookout for an empathetic and dedicated woman to assist a young woman living with a Brain Injury and Autism in Stanley, Co. Durham.
- We adhere to the Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOQ) and hence, this role is open to women only._
Hours:
You'll work 28.5 hours weekly, which includes evening and weekend shifts, along with sleep-in duties.
Pay Rate:
£11.00 per hour during weekdays, £12.00 per hour on weekends, and £87.20 for each sleep-in shift. Expect double pay on bank holidays.
Client Details:
The client is a young woman who requires assistance to maintain and enhance her independence. You will aid her in her rehabilitation program, focusing on her home and community involvement.
Requirements:
- A commitment to professionalism, dependability, and discretion
- A friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience under pressure
Preferences:
- Prior experience supporting someone with a brain injury, learning difficulties, or autism would be advantageous
- Possession of a full, clean UK driving licence is preferred
Details:
Your commitment will be to a 28.5-hour work week, which includes evening, weekend shifts, and sleep-in duties (10 hour). Ongoing training and supervision will be provided to equip you for this fulfilling role.
