UK Food Packers specialises in contract packing services to the food industry, we produce and pack a wide range of sauces, contract pack dry powders, meal kits etc into a variety of different varieties of packaging.
Job description
Due to expansion, we require permanent production line staff with immediate effect.
We currently operate on a day shift of 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday with possible afternoon shifts in the future.
Duties Include:
- To perform manufacturing operations, ensuring that satisfactory product is produced efficiently at minimum waste levels.
- Comply with organisational policies and procedures.
- To comply with safety and environmental procedures.
- To supply customers with good quality product and meet deadlines.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Safety conscious.
- Must be literate, numerate and be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically fit.
- Able to work under pressure at a fast pace.
EXPERIENCE:
- It would be an advantage to have previously worked in a busy production environment.
