Full Time, Fixed Term - Professional Ser

  • The International Student Advice Team (ISAT), based is Student Support Services are recruiting for an International Student Adviser, to provide specialist immigration advice to applicants and students in line with the Office of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC level 2), and in accordance with the terms of the University's Sponsor License.
    Fixed term one year full time post to cover maternity leave.

You should have:


  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or substantial relevant work experience in a post with similar, general support/advice duties.
  • Familiarity with Higher Education, and an understanding of, and experience in, the provision of information, advice and guidance services.
  • Knowledge of immigration rules relating to students.
  • An interest in working with students from different cultures.
  • International applicants from outside the UK will need to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK
