We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underwriter to join our office-based team in Knowle, Solihull.

Responsibilities of a Financial Services Underwriter

To be responsible for dealing with agency queries both internal and external
To develop and maintain good working relationships with Directors, staff and advisers
To provide any additional support to line manager and/or Compliance Director

Requirements of a Financial Services Underwriter

A minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role within Financial Services
Strong attention to detail
The ability to analyse information with a view to making informed decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
Good team player, but with the ability to work under own initiative
Competent on Microsoft office suite i.e. excel, word etc.

Salary of a Financial Services Underwriter

£23,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience, meaning to receive the higher end of the salary banding you must have done a similar role in a Financial Services Network previously.
