We are recruiting for a Ward Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable, and committed individual to join our busy Team as a Ward Clerk as part of the Ward Clerk Pool structure.
Duties also include filing of hospital notes, meeting and greeting patients and relatives, liaising with doctors and specialty secretaries etc.
This role is for a permanent contract with the working pattern of Monday to Friday P.M. - to include a proportion of bank holidaysOur Values areInclude,Respect, andImprove. It is important that you understand and refer to our values during your recruitment process and beyond
You will be responsible for data entry of confidential information onto the computerised database. The data entry needs to be accurate so attention to detail is essential.
You will also be responsible for the provision of a high-quality reception service by meeting and greeting visitors to the ward.
To ensure that medical records are request on Trust Health recs database readily available for patients being admitted to the ward.
To enter and retrieve data from all current Trust computer systems in place (EPR, Lorenzo/Nervecentre) to acceptable data quality standards.
