We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Production & Production Control team as a Production & Planning Assistant.


Job Summary:


As a Production & Planning Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Production Manager in daily operational activities.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in production scheduling, coordinating manufacturing cells, ensuring compliance with documentation, and facilitating seamless communication between departments.

You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Independently carry out the scheduling process, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to organize and deploy manufacturing cells effectively.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Liaise with the Sales Department to manage the order book and meet lead times.
  • Contribute to stock take activities and assist in ERP system development.
  • Support production implementation projects and report on key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and relay relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure availability of resources necessary for production schedules.
  • Assist in achieving ontime delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct site monitoring to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
