Senior eLearning Specialist

Location:
Hybrid - Remote with travel to RICS offices as and when required

£35,000 to £39,000 DOE


Job Purpose


The Senior eLearning Specialist will have responsibility for the development of RICS eLearning products as well as the delivery of BAU tasks and providing customer support related to course materials and Moodle LMS.

You will also have the opportunity to support the eLearning Manager on ad hoc projects and reporting.


As a Senior eLearning Specialist, you will also have responsibility for the line management of the junior eLearning Specialists within the team.

This role is hybrid and open to anyone in the UK. You will however need to visit the office (Birmingham or London) occasionally on an ad-hoc basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Line management of two eLearning Specialists
  • Develop eLearning courses in Articulate Rise and Storyline as per agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Support the Manager and Head of Product Development in project planning and Liaise with SMEs during the product development phase when needed
  • Update or fix errors in existing eLearning SCORMs and Moodle pages
  • Manage and maintain eLearning assets in MS SharePoint as per version control standards
  • Manage assigned projects by updating progress in the project management tool and raising risks and concerns in a timely manner
  • Provide quality customer support to members and nonmembers via support inbox as per SLA's
  • Support the manager with inbox reporting
  • Support the delivery of BAU tasks and ad hoc projects
  • Champion change by proactively collaborating in the improvement of products and processes with a focus on member satisfaction and engagement

Experience / Skills Required

Essential

  • 12 years line management experience
  • 45 years Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Adobe Illustrator, In-Design and Premiere Pro/After Effects
  • MS Excel (Intermediate to advanced)
  • Experience with LMS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
  • Customer service excellent written communication
  • 12 years project management
  • Agility and flexibility to manage changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced commercial environment

Desirable, but not essential

  • Some knowledge of learning theories and andragogy
  • Moodle LMS as an administrator (no coding knowledge required)
