Join us inProviding a Great Education For Every Child
CSET is committed to equal opportunities and encourages applicants from all backgrounds and communities, as we recognise the importance and benefit this has for our pupils.
The Castle School Education Trust is excited to be recruiting for a Data Officer to manage all aspects of our MIS system (SIMS) and other related data systems such as FFT and SmartGrade.
The role includes responsibility for the monitoring and collating of a range of school data; ensuring the data is accurate; and reporting data both internally and externally.
Admissions, timetable changes and census collation are also all key parts of the role.About the role
The role is being offered as temporary in order to initially provide maternity cover at our Marlwood School in Alveston, but with the view to potentially become permanent when the cover ends as we envision that there will be a need for an additional person in the team within the next 12 months.
We are keen to hear from you regardless of what hours you are available to work or whether you are looking for all year round or term time only employment - we would prefer to find the right person for the role and then agree on all of those details when we have found them.
The only requirements we make are that you are able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week and that you can easily commute to the appropriate school site when required.
About us
CSET is a multi-academy trust formed in 2013 by The Castle School and now includes Marlwood, Mangotsfield and Downend secondary schools as well as Charfield, Severn Beach and Lyde Green primary schools.

- Commitment to inclusivity and fostering of diversity
- Values and vision that are lived not laminated

About you
You have data management experience as well as being personable, with exceptional communication skills. Multi-tasking will be easy for you and you will have excellent organisational skills.
It is essential that you have demonstrable ICT skills including Microsoft Excel skills and preferably have a degree of confidence when it comes to using basic formulas to manipulate data.
